🌱 Carson City: National Seed Swap Day | Saturday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Whether you’re a first-time gardener or a seasoned pro, or simply interested in gardening, sustainability, and meeting new people check out this Seed Swap Day at the Roberts-Foreman House (1207 N. Carson St) on Saturday.
UNR Extension Carson City Master Gardeners are putting together this free event. You don’t need to bring seeds to participate—just show up, browse, and connect.
If you do bring seeds, organizers ask that they’re labeled with the plant type, variety, growing zone/location, and year grown. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own small containers (zip-top bags, paper packets, etc.), though some will be available onsite.
Attendees can also take part in gardening demonstrations, enjoy refreshments, and have the possibility to win during two gardening basket raffles.
Although the event is free, a $5 donation is suggested to benefit the UNR Extension Carson City Master Gardener Program.
