From Henderson and Las Vegas to Reno and Carson City, residents can attend rallies, meetings, and community actions focused on civic engagement and local issues.

Here’s your weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Friday (April 10)

Fight Fascism Fridays Henderson
(Henderson, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A weekly rally along Eastern Ave, where participants gather on the sidewalk near local businesses to engage in public demonstration and community visibility.

Fight Fascism Fridays Las Vegas
(Las Vegas, 5-7 p.m.)
A downtown gathering near the Federal Courthouse that includes an open mic component for poetry and spoken word alongside the rally.

 

Saturday (April 11)

Tell DMV: Stop Enabling ICE!
(Reno, 10-11:30 a.m.)
A community gathering outside the Reno DMV office focused on concerns around data sharing between state agencies and federal immigration authorities.

Lyon County NV Dems April Meeting
(Private location, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A local meeting covering upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and organizing efforts.

Handmaids of Las Vegas Stand at ICE Offices
(Private location, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
A recurring demonstration where participants gather near ICE offices to show support for immigrant communities.

Solidarity Saturdays
(Carson City, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
A weekly gathering at the Legislative Plaza where community members meet on the public sidewalk to connect and engage on civic issues.
